Koden Kan Combined Martial Arts

Professor Michael M. Foley has spent the better part of forty (40) years developing this system of martial arts we teach here at the "Hand to Hand Combat Training Center" and it is the most thorough and complete combination of Asian, Greek, and American styles of fighting ever assembled into one unique, eclectic form of self-defense. He spent his youth studying various diverse systems of martial arts, achieving Black Belts in seven and additional training in many others.

Experienced practitioners of various martial arts styles will observe elements of many diverse systems of empty hand combat as well as training in a myriad of martial arts weapons. Listed below are traditional martial art systems from which KKCMA has taken, refined, and preserved in a comprehensive format of learning/teaching techniques of self-defense that may take the dedicated student all the way to the coveted rank of Black Belt.

Many consider KKCMA to be Traditional Martial Arts combined with American Hand to Hand Combat taught in a way to enforce the primary methodology of teaching that emphatically embraces the principles of Desire, Dedication, and Discipline.

The video below is intended to demonstrate those principles for the novice as well as the experienced student of martial arts. Careful observation will show how much effort is put into the training to achieve this level of physical, mental and spiritual excellence in a very real sense.
