Quick answers
Do I need to bring sticks?
No for your first visits—loaner sticks are available. Many students buy their own pair once they’re hooked.
Is knife work part of class?
Yes, as you progress. Beginners start with stick fundamentals first.
Do I need experience?
No. Beginners are welcome. We start with clear stick fundamentals and build from there at a safe pace.
Can students in wheelchairs train in Escrima?
Yes. Escrima’s stick and knife work translates well to training from a seated position, and we adapt drills for wheelchair users. We’ve had students in wheelchairs really enjoy it. Call or text (208) 262-1410 so we can plan your first class together.
