Tai Chi with real self-defense applications
Taijiquan Kung Fu in Hayden—smooth, joint-friendly movement with a real martial root. Beginners and seniors welcome. First two classes free.
Why train here
Steady standing work and forms that build coordination without pounding your joints.
Research, including a 2012 study in the New England Journal of Medicine, found that Tai Chi improved balance, stability and walking in people with mild to moderate Parkinson's disease, and reduced falls. Classes are gentle and go at your pace.
Slow, controlled weight shifts build leg strength, steadiness and body awareness. Better balance means fewer falls as we get older, and more confidence on your feet every day.
